Unspoken Stories: A Screening Event & Community Panel

This video series by Holding Heritage founder Hollie Ha brings forward intimate family conversations about refugee journeys, childhood, and parenthood. Through candid intergenerational conversations, Unspoken Stories shares the lived experiences of Chinese Vietnamese Boat People refugees and their descendants. The stories explore themes of identity and belonging, and offer insight into the complexities of family and cultural heritage. The videos are in Cantonese and Vietnamese with English subtitles. The event will feature clips from the series followed by a panel discussion with Ha, author Sandy Ho (No Way But Through: A Family Memoir), and project participant Andrew Ha.
