Flow Jam Tuesdays

Lewis Park

Inspired by Tam-Tams in Montreal and similar community gatherings around the world, Flow Jam Tuesdays is a free weekly gathering to play, move, and connect. Try something new! Our community often practices flow arts, juggling, handstands, AcroYoga, slacklining, and other movement-based activities. Beginners and all ages are welcome. Bring your kids, props, instruments, snacks to share, or simply come hang out. We set up by the river tubing exit behind the baseball field. Tuesdays from 4:00 pm until dark (most arrive ~5:00 pm).

ROCK THE BLOCK 2026

The Waverley Hotel, 2692 Dunsmuir Ave, Cumberland, BC V0R, Canada

Five Alarm Funk https://www.fivealarmfunk.com/ This is one of our favourites. They are a horn-powered, percussion-fueled sonic and visual assault. Over 20 years of hard funking the band has burned up stages on four continents, released six studio albums and received two Juno Award nominations (Canadian Grammys). And this ride isn’t about to slow down. As one of our favourite Canadian bands, these guys have headlined our festivals and packed the Waverley for almost 2 decades. Drama Queen https://dramaqueenband.ca/ The DNA is familiar from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop of the ‘60s to Berlin nightclubs in the ‘70s to Williamsburg house parties in the early 2000s. This band was a must see at our Woodstove Festival and stoked to bring them back to 'Rock' the Block. La Delirio Cumbia La Delirio Cumbia is a vibrant Latin cumbia band born in Cumberland,BC. It has been brought together by a shared love for the rhythms, energy, and joy of Latin American music, especially cumbia. The group’s lineup features Argentinian Fabi Batallanos on lead vocals, a dynamic horns section and vibrant percussion. Tereza Tomek https://www.instagram.com/terezatomek/ She is a songwriter, musician, and community organizer from Cumberland, BC who is passionate about bringing people together through music. She spends her creative time fronting her own project, holding down the low end with local bands, teaching youth songwriting, and producing the annual Woodstove Music & Arts Festival. She is joined by an incredible lineup of local talent: Good Enuff Dave, Drew English, Simon Davies, Peter Keys, and some surprise guests. Expect folk rock with grit, honesty, humour, and melodies you’ll be humming in the shower all week. Tyger and The Strypes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjuaMyBDWh0 Tyger blends raw, heartfelt folk country songs with indie soul. Weaving tender introspective storytelling with honest grit. Blending a mix of Orginals from her debut album ‘Survival of the Weakest’ alongside a collection of memorable covers, Tyger and The Strypes live performances are pure magic—so come with your heart on your sleeve, and let the music speak to you. SELAYNE https://soundcloud.com/selayne Expect to hear many genres such as funk, disco, all things house music (especially classic and deep house). Kumugwe Dancers https://kumugwe.ca/dancers/ Taking their name from the traditional Bighouse that sits within the heart of the K’omoks First Nation, members of the dance troupe have been practicing and performing together since 2001. We are honoured to have had the Kumugwe Dancers participate in our events for the past 20 years.
