Just in Time Choirs

Just in Time Choirs

The Just in Time Choirs were launched in September 2005 by director Wendy Nixon Stothert and musical collaborator Sean Mooney.

The choirs are made up of adult singers of all ages and walks of life. There are 3 choirs under the Just in Time banner. The Jems are a group of around 16 auditioned women, Vocal Minority is a group of around 15 men and women, and Unplugged is a mixed non-auditioned group of up to 65 singers.

The choirs offer a safe, warm, encouraging, uplifting environment where singers of all experience levels are welcome. We sing a contemporary repertoire including songs from genres such as jazz, rock, pop, folk, funk, latin, soul and gospel.

With two terms each year, the choirs practice weekly in Courtenay/Comox with two performances in fall and spring, matinee and evening.
